I have also lived here all my life, went to school here, work here, shop here and raise children here, attended my fair share of town steering meeting etc etc I think some people are being a bit harsh we have fantastic quirky businesses here... Alhambra's - never a dull moment here with the tea room...

As far as I am aware they were waiting for two key machines to be delivered from France and this has delayed the opening, they had hoped to be open in time for our Mad Hatters Easter Event. So the opening should be soon.... I cant wait - they seem very pleasant to speak to.

Consultation was under taken and various name suggestions were made. The best fit was Kirkdale Village and the got the majority vote. You can never please everyone, but this is an exciting start and the huge success of our launch this saturday shows what we Kirkdale Village can do.

Kirkdale Village is the name of our new traders association and the initative has been recieved very well, please dont be negative and get behind the local traders and support us in the initiative to create a shopping destination and most importantly support our local businesses.

Kirkdale Village is the name of a new traders association/initative that covers businesses that populate the junction of Kirkdale and Dartmouth Road.

We do hope to see everyone at The (old pub) Woodman 110 Kirkdale and surrounding for our event on Saturday morning 10am-12:30
