Thanks Blondie.
JRW - it is in Bromley, but the border is only about 200 m away (where is changes from 30 - 20 mph).

Re: Loud motorbike revving can be heard from Westwood Hill
On a slightly different note, does anyone know what happened at the small roundabout at the junction of Kent House Rd with Kent House Lane about 3 days ago? Someone obviously hit the 2 central crossing areas and demolished the wall of the garden of the corner house.

[quote= but the person was pretty sure of himself adding that the Capitol in Forest Hill will shut soon which is why Wetherspoons are looking to open a new pub close by.[/quote]
From what I've heard, the Capitol at Forest Hill isn't closing soon.

fake Big Issue seller?
The Romanian (?) man who sits in a wheelchair and begs near Sainsburys at Bell Green by the bus stops and zebra crossing was today selling a couple of copies of Big Issue. But he didn't have a jacket or any other signs that he is a registered seller. I even wonder if the magazines were the current i...

Re: Now it's horse "messages" on pavement!
There was a police horse box at Bell Green near the Sainsburys delivery entrance this morning, with police saddling up the horses. When I came back a couple of hours later, there was a lot of horse droppings on the pavement across the road from the bus stops. Guess the police don't have to pick up, ...

I see work has finally started on 7 Kent House Rd, the old Steptoes shop. No idea what it will be - another shop, or more likely flats.

Re: Mopeds
SydenhamOwl, I got the impression that the quad bikes and motor bikes are riding around the industrial estate nr Lower Sydenham St, and just use Kent House Rd to get there. But I have to say they are really annoying, hearing the sound of the bikes in the evening, sometimes quite late.

Re: Received a council tax bill yet?
Had mine 3 or 4 weeks ago with the 4.2% increase. I know other people who were changed from 12 to 10 payments and they phoned up and soon got it reverted to 12 .

I've been watching its construction. It came up quite quickly. I wonder what the children now do seeing that they've lost their playground.
