Living as I do along side an active canal, I would venture to suggest that those stones may be the edge of a lock or wharf. Towpaths are seldom edged unless in those two areas of activity. If I am right, under those stones should be courses of brick I'm not sure if I have the right place, is this at...

Ignore the sell by dates anyway Poppy, it has no relation to the fitness of the item to eat.
It has more to do with the supermarket stock control.

Once generally known as the working mans club.
These days I expect there is some kind of PC twaddle to prevent that, on the grounds someone unemployed will take offence at it?

Simple Supermarkets killed those varieties of shops which you complain are not there any more, and wish were. My mum used to shop in Forest hill, 1950's and 60's as it was nearer to The top end of Kirkdale; Between the Bird in Pub in Dartmouth Road and the shops opp the old cinema there was David Gr...

I used to do it all the time, and further besides

were these boxes about 6 feet long by 18inches high?

did they look a bit sinister? lots of bats about?

definately time to avoid Venner road after dark then.

Mind you when I lived at the penge east end, it was wise to avoid most of Venner road at any time

A higher degree of literacy would probably help your case a little, as you seem to have the grammar skills of Vicky Pollard .
Your post above barely makes sense.
But I suppose that's a racist point of view.

Whatever your differences, with Falkor, And I have mine also inregards to copyright, your immediate ressort to veiled threats of this kind does you no good, nor supports your claim. Indeed it would rather support those of Falkor. As for the copyright involved with publicaly available 100 year old ph...
