Re: 10 Jobs available at the new Dixon/PC World
Yes Eagle indeed they are, however only one of them has one eye thus removing any doubt that they are both idiots :P Can't argue about supporting local businesses but can argue about furnishing the lifestyles of mega rich curators of corporate atrocities and greed. http://drpinna.com/wp-content/uplo...

Re: 10 Jobs available at the new Dixon/PC World
Weird, then, that you come across as such a snob about retail work... Come on, spill - did PC World ever turn you down for a job? If so, does it still hurt? You have misread my disdain. Corporate vultures like PC world haven't earned my respect and never will. It's great news that their modus opera...

I've told you before Eagle I'm not a socialist and I'm certainly not a supporter of conservatives dressed in red like Blair or that one eyed Scottish idiot Gordon Clown.Eagle wrote:Mike

Re: 10 Jobs available at the new Dixon/PC World
Either way mate I'm sitting at home with my feet up posting crap on the internet all day without having to lift a finger and still getting paid for it. Not bad is it :D I've worked in a factory, dug trenches on building sites, worked in a shop and was kept on low wages because I had no other choice ...

Re: 10 Jobs available at the new Dixon/PC World
Mike why do you have to be so negative. It concerns me. I don't much care for the minimum wage. As was mentioned earlier if you pay peanuts you get monkey arsed chimps who often struggle with the most simplistic of basic concepts in a futile attempt to up their commission by patronising pensioners ...

Re: 10 Jobs available at the new Dixon/PC World
What do you mean Mike, people will not be able to fill these jobs because of the minimum wage. With housing so expensive and minimum wage an exploitative outrage there will be people who would rather languish on the dole after they have be socially engineered out of London to an economically loboto...

Re: 10 Jobs available at the new Dixon/PC World
Why be so negative. Jobs should be welcomed. Not a great fan of these sort of stores but know a lot of people are. Any jobs are a good thing. I agree on the jobs front however it's probably only a matter of time until people won't be available to fill these jobs because of the minimum wage. If the ...

Re: Burglarised yesterday De Frene Road
Well said Brido. May the force be with you. Tony Martin lives. HAHA! Have to agree, I like Brido's style. I like the word Burgalarised. Unless you come home to find out it's happened to you. Must admit this is a serious concern of mine, I've got insurance but you cant replace sentimental valuables ...

Re: How to avoid Tesco, Sydenham Road
The problem with a Tesco opening in Sydenham has nowt to do with cardboard flavoured produce. It's about damaging the community and the high street as a whole. A lot of work has been done to try and promote indi stuff but the only problem is the competition and the demographics. Rod doesn't like cha...

Re: I have salt. I have snow shovel. Bring it on!
Well it's taken me two days of effort to get my dishwasher converted into a snow plough. End result is the wife has just got the shovel out of the shed and finally getting on with it. Re: I have salt. I have snow shovel. Bring it on!
It's a blizzard out, took my lad to Peckham Rye Park, well, dragged him on his sled, he did make me laugh as he kept saying mush! mush!
He said today was the best day ever so I'm beaming at the moment but really quite worn out.
Wonder how bad the commute will be in the morning?
