On Saturday 20th September join us for a day of FREE creative workshops, tours and talks that celebrate these unique green spaces. All activities are connected by the Waterlink Way, a cycle and footpath that follows the rivers which rarely touches roads or built up areas.

Weaving multiple narratives that drift between contemporary references and fanciful landscapes, this unique audio tour is triggered by your GPS location and offers moments of serendipity; where the physical present is mirrored by this virtual world. You will also be able to interact with a digital installation sited on the bridge where the River Ravensbourne meets the Pool, using your smartphone.

Artist walk
Location: Beginning at Southend Lane entrance to Riverpool Linear Park. Map.

Make a bird feeder
Time: Drop in, 12.00 - 4.00pm

River Pool Linear Park boasts an impressive urban birdlife. Using simple pinecones make your own bird feeder in preparation for the colder months.

Ornithologist David Darrell-Lambert explores the rich birdlife of the Waterlink Way. Hidden from view and an essential part of the habitat of the area; join our twitching expert and take a moment to enjoy the wildlife living above our heads.
