Le bonne shut without warning

I was at le bonne at kirkdale yesterday to pick up something. This morning sent the other half over to buy croissants for overnight visitors and it was shut without warning. No sign nothing. This is the 2nd time it's happened to us. We love their baked goods, but how can we love their bakery if we can't rely on it.

My wife has made it a habit of fetching all sorts of yummy things from there on Saturday mornings but was closed last time and to our dismay, there was no sign. Hope all's well.

I was hoping also to pop into SugaHill yesterday but it too was closed with explanation.

Without wishing to unduly criticise, the bakery has been a big 'plus' to that area of Kirkdale. Loads of cakes and pastries, and different types of hot fresh bread.
Then a number of small problems began creeping in. I've collected fresh bread that wasn't cooked properly a couple of times on a saturday morning. (all doughy in the middle)
Running out of pastries and choice being limited.
And now shutting with little or no notification.

This is exactly the sort of business we should (and have been trying to) support. If this business can survive, and flourish, then it will draw in other complimentary businesses to the locale.

I hope they get their problems sorted,..and soon
