News | Sydenham Assembly | 4th September 2008

05/09/2008

The third Sydenham Assembly was held at the Narborhood Centre. Instead of writing a report I shot the main presentations with a handheld camera. Shakey picture, bad sound, no editing but I hope it forms an accurate record of most of the proceedings.

The format was first a report back on matters arising from the last assembly (the first set of videos). This was followed by an unrecorded discussion sessions around seperate tables covering the different subjects. This was followed by report back presentations (second set of videos).

I missed the first bit where barry announced:

  • Increase services on east London Railway 10/hr instead of 8
  • London Bridge/Charing Cross preserved same 18 trains between 7-10am rush hour
  • Southern Trains will all be 8 crarriages
  • Platforms to be lengthened for 10/12 carriage trains between 2012/5

Sydenham High Street - Scott Hamilton.

Safer Neighbourhood Team - Angela Hall.

A 45 minute discussion period was held around 7 tables.
