I simply do not understand the binary approach so many regulars here take. Why does Sydenham Road have to poundshops OR yoga studios? Why not a mix of the two?

While I'd love to believe that Sydenham Road was destined to go the way of Columbia Road and become a haven of slightly mad, quirky little shops, given our suburban reality Subway is not a bad chain to see moving in. It's a step up from Wimpy, anyway.

Popped in before Christmas with my two slightly snow-hyped children and found the shop (and it's very patient proprietor) to be great additions to the high street. I'll undoubtably be back!
