Re: 5-a-side footie

Morning - well done for keeping the 5-aside going all these years.

I’m in for the 18th May. I’ll only be able to stay for a beer after the game as I have to get back down to the South coast for the evening.

Cheers,

Marathon (Saul)

Don't even think about making my through train stop Lems. It's enough that I have to look at your sad faces as I swoosh through on the fast line.

Re: 5-a-side footie

Thanks Lem. I'm playing in the Lewes Bonfire Cup on the 11th so I thought I'd get my lardy arse down to Sydders for a kick around for the first time in 15 months. My brother said he'd play and I'm trying to get Alex to join in too after a comment he made on Facebook.

Re: New barriers at Sydenham Station

In that case strange these criminals who sneek through do not get arrested. So you'd advocate at least one uniformed member of the police force at every single station in the network to catch a handful of fare dodgers? Because the last time I checked station staff have the same power of arrest as y...

Re: NO SYDENHAM TRAINS SUNDAY

Rod, try their Delay Repay form on Southerns website. I'm not sure how much you'll get back on a weekly season ticket but I got £15 in the post today from them for the cancellation of trains after the storm at the end if October. Mind you, my season ticket is an annual one and the refund is based on...

Re: Sydenham under a new flight path?

As for the landing gear bit, I wasn't being sarky (well, not much!). Landing gear and flight controls use servo motors and hydraulics. It would be impossible to hear anything other than engine noise from 5,000+ ft. Unless you've got VERY sensitive and finely tuned hearing I doubt you'd be able to h...

Eh? Glass may have pores, but it's impermeable.

Hey chaps.
