Re: local wifi networks

Mr Baron - you have a strange way of persuading people to help you. Nethertheless here is a tip that may be useful - when all else fails - use your phone! Don't own a phone, at least not a mobile. The person you should be lecturing is Cyber Annie, clearly she missed that notice about "friendly...

there is a screengrab at the above link; it is what I see when my Wifi connection goes to UrbanAngels.

Re: local wifi networks

Is a_Baron having a laugh? No one should ever share their WiFi pass key, I think this person is on a wind up. [ Post made via Mobile Device ] http://sydenham.org.uk/mobile.png To paraphrase Roger Glover: God gave you stunning looks but took away everything else. I hope the first part of that senten...

Re: local wifi networks

Those look like people's personal wifi networks, not public ones. If you want the passwords, I suggest knocking on your neighbours' doors and asking for them! If you are on BT you can use private BT wifi networks through the BT app IF those people have agreed to be part of the BTFone network. p.s. ...

Re: photographs of foxes

I agree with Paul. How many other professions ( apart from musicians )are expected to work for free? Even amateur photographers should expect to be paid for their images. I recently retired from the profession. Copyright is dead http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/335824 here is a real alternativ...

problem logging on in Sydenham

I'm using a wireless connection at the moment but since yesterday something has gone terribly wrong with it and I have very limited access if at all. I used to log on to Netgear but now I keep getting the message: The settings saved on this computer for the Network do not match its requirements. I'm...

I saw a couple of windows put in but didn't think anything of it. The lady in the laudrette said the police told them to close at 2pm. Thankfully we've missed the worst of it.

riots in Sydenham

I've noticed a couple of shops with windows smashed. Is that anything to do with the riots or the usual drunk, or accident?
