I noticed someone else posted on another thread suggesting that this forum is getting taken over by a small group of posters who just exchange pointless banter. I am start...

So 20 people are responsible for roughly half of the posts ever made on here.

Not sure if that is a good stat or not given that there are circa 15,600 Sydenham residents!

i cycle to work every day to greenwich and for the most part abide by the rules of the road. However on occasion i have been know to jump the odd red light. I tend to do this to get in front of the traffic in good time otherwise you risk getting hit. Most of the accidents in london are between cycli...

I'll help with something but haven't quite worked out what yet. I prefer the agenda view on the google calendar. Personal preference i suppose. The only thing i can think of that you guys haven't already discussed is the introduction of an e-newsletter. Good way to generate interest and get users to...

i've just watched the video which is 4 minutes and 23 seconds long. This time includes editing and titles. Is that really such a long time for 1 "heavily loaded" and 1 "lightly loaded" train to empty it's passengers and see them all through the barriers? don't get me wrong, i'm a...

hi mike, i'm also in the peak hill area on virgin cable and when i got home yesterday evening my connection was down. I thought it no coincidence that the road outside was being dug up to replace all the water pipes. However i unplugged my router for 20 seconds, plugged it back in and that solved th...

Hello, I cycle daily to and from my work in greenwich from sydenham and i follow for the most part, cycle route 21. It's a very nice ride, through quiet roads, along the river that runs through the bottom of sydenham, through parks etc. It can get tricky and complicated in places. The chances are we...

The web site for sydenham tennis club provides all the information you need - unfortunately it's down at the moment as we're having problems renewing the domain due to a permanant telephone queue of 20+ people at Fasthosts. Hopefully we'll get it sorted in the next couple of days - i'll let you know...

Hi, you could try progas, they have been recommended on here before, and they did a good job installing my new boiler a few months ago. They are based at the bottom of sydenham high street. Less expensive than british gas but probably more expensive than a cowboy who would do a bad job. http://www.p...

just had a look at sydenhamnews.co.uk and my view is (you say you welcome feedback) is that it is utter rubbish. Badly designed and poorly implemented. I suppose you could forgive the problems with design and usability if it had some really good compelling content. But no, full of irrelevant, out of...
