Re: How to include a photo or image in your post

I'm afraid this is the only way.
The East Dulwich forum uses the same method for posting pictures and has hundreds of posts every day with people including photos for items they are selling.
It doesn't seem to cause problems for them.

It is possible to add photos from Imgur without signing in. Other sites are available. On the Imgur site [imgur.com], under New post, click on 'upload image' then select and upload your image(s). Under the 'Share this Image' header copy the BB Code(forums) text and paste it into your STF message. Wh...

Re: Forum Issues

Hi you need to place your pic on a website like Pinterest, then the site will give you a web address for that photo. Then click on the insert URL button (above the box when you make a post) and paste the address inside the two urls. Bingo!

Re: Station muggers

In case anyone is wondering what happened to lots of points made earlier on this thread, it is because I deleted a troll's post, and hence the comments that followed made no sense so they went too.
Have a good day!

Re: Forum Issues

I think it is fixed for time being. The server upgraded the software which seems to have caused the problem. We have reverted to the
old and the link you gave me works.
More will be done when Stuart gets back from a holiday. It should be OK till then.

Re: NEW: LGBTQIA+ Book Group at Kirkdale Bookshop!

I have attempted to split this topic so that the arguments are confined to a topic of the same name in the Pub. Apologies if this makes either or both of the respective threads read rather strangely. I have also returned the "Q" to the title of this part of the topic. Please be kind, I'm trying to d...

Re: Sockpuppets on t'other forum

Rod Taylor asked:
?? Admin - how likely is it that a poster on STF could be a Chris Beach sock puppet? Am I right in presuming as long as he continues to change email address he could pop up indefinitely with a new sock puppet?
He has had at least two sockpuppet accounts on here in the past.

Re: advice about wasp nest

Sounds like a bumble bee nest - they often have nests in the ground. I don't think wasps do that.
