My firm has frozen wages and has warned of redundancy but nobody is talking about strikes in my office. These unions are too...

I've recently bought a place in Orpington and cycle to work in Victoria everyday and its exactly the same, I just shout rude things at them in the hope the lights won't change to red and they catch up!

Kidding I am not, just because someone has a crap life and wants to end it dosen't give them justification to mess up hundreds (thousands?) of peoples commute and in the case of the unfortunate train driver, affect them for life as well.

A nasty little tip from someone who's not a stranger to muggings and random attacks - When in a potentially dangerous situation put your hands in your pockets and put the yale key in between your two middle fingers (sharp side pointing out.) If the situation does escalate you can surprise them with ...

Can't we let this topic go, he's run off in an over dramatic sulk and all these posts are doing are massinging his ego - Yes his posts were informative but keeping this going serves no purpose. If he has left he won't read them anyway.

My sister went in there and asked for a Mocha and the two women behind the counter spent 30 mins looking for the right button, that was after they'd picked themselves off the floor laughing at the name.

There's a new couple who have moved in directly opposite me and they've put a white line in front of their lowered curb that extends about 3 foot past the width of the drive on either side. I wouldn't mind but they've stuck a "gate in constant use" sign on their wall and they don't even own a car! T...

But if she parks there, she is only blocking herself in so no harm done, if someone else parks there they are stopping her getting out meaning she has to wait until that fool returns before she can leave. If someone parked across my drive (which has a lowered curb) they'd better be prepared for an e...
