It's a shame to close just after they repainted it, there were posters up saying they defaulted on the rent so perhaps another landlord can be found to take it on?

I really hope they don't close the Library, what a waste. They may need to change function / technology but they are a fundamental service to the local community.

That doesnt sound great about further down the high street, I really hope that section materialises, I doubt anything else is going to get funding for some time.

that's a good point Sydenham, to pull visitors in the area needs some kind of niche, perhaps more music from the local talent pool I don't know, the Arts Festival and local pubs are a good start. Do you mind if I ask how they got in, wondering if there's any security to improve. It's such a narrow street I'm surprised they got away with it.

The way I do it is to view the image in a different browser window, copy that link, then press the Img button when posting the reply, paste, then press Img again & you should be all done. If you hit preview you can see if it worked before submitting the post.
