Re: Covid Vaccination- Sydenham Green Group Practice
The links I received for dose 1 and dose 2 from Syd Green were not shareable but unique. You enter your DoB and then it tells you who you are.
Do you have source for this shareable links story? If not then is it the right thing to share it without verification?

Re: Wells Park practice and Covid vaccinations
We too had our second dose invitations from Sydenham Green today. Click on text, complete birth date, choose slot (April 8th), click, text pings back confirmation. All done in 60 seconds. I've spent nearly that many years in IT and I have to say, I gasped. Overall great thanks to Kate Bingham for pr...

Re: Borough wide CPZ - to help Lewisham budget shortfall
A very balanced answer @sydenham. Given that around half the Borough don't have cars and are the most likely to benefit from Borough spending - charging for the semi-permanent occupancy use of a public space by those able to afford cars would seem reasonable. Of course any taxation system is unfair ...

Is this true? As an outsider you have to pay, if you have a car, in other areas. But not a permit.

Re: Who's standing in the Sydenham by election in May?
An opposition is the only way to have proper scrutiny. An effective opposition is a group who able to take control if the elected leaders fail. But most councils are pretty much one party states. Bromley will never go Labour as Lewisham will never go Conservative for the foreseeable future. Opposit...

Sydenham is a London property hotspot
Good news for people who own homes here. Bad news for everybody else. Top ten spots for rises in the last 12 months. Interestingly all but two are south of the river and half are in SE London: https://i2-prod.mylondon.news/incoming/article19924227.ece/ALTERNATES/s615b/1_Feb-2021-hotspots-2.jpg Repor...

They are assuming that they will win, unchallenged. May be - but no excuse. Remember the red wall? Disruptive politics will change certainties. And while you are right to point out that this is about a local microcosm - you will have noticed that it can quickly be put into the context of national a...

Who's standing in the Sydenham by election in May?
Sorry JGD but for all Nicola's impressive presentational skills - outclassing Boris in spades - the results, particularly Covid-19 related are alarmingly similar. And that's what counts. Except people don't. But getting back to dear old Sydders. Two candidates have a bio. Jack Lavery doesn't. Call m...

Re: Anybody clap last night?
I think you miss my point. A contingency plan isn't what you are doing. It's what you might do if the current plan doesn't work. Aka Plan B, C & D. Agile and at Pace are today's awful buzzwords. But it what's expected the ability to change plan and do it quickly. Because a government doesn't wan...
