Re: Yummy Mummies, Wet Wipes & Archies

I occasionally pop in to buy a coffee/pastry with 2 young children in tow. We then retire to enjoy our purchases admiring the community garden or park. I find it often too busy to get a table in the cafe. I am very happy that business at the cafe is going so well. I am sure that the owners have no d...

Re: Starting-up a Barbers business in Sydenham

There are also Facebook groups 'Sydenham mums' & 'crystal palace mums' - people are often asking for recommendations for great people who do kids haircuts & also mobile hairdressers so you could try & join those groups. Be prepared on the latter for lots of photos of medical queries

Ok so I went back this morning to find the name for you & get another coffee. He also owns a kiosk in Penge East station & it is under his family name Sheriff's Coffee Co.

Italian coffee & Italian freshly baked pastries - not helping my resolve to save money this month!

Re: Adamsdrill or Haseltine

I would visit both schools or go to the fairs to get a good feel of the atmosphere. We preferred the feel of Adamsrill to Haseltine and Ofsted can be misleading. It can all come down to the head teacher and both schools have got new head's since those results. We chose Kilmorie in the end although m...

It is fab - I got a take away of fresh, delicious sushi, edamame & picked up a chicken Katsu curry for my partner who doesn't like seafood. Had a beer whilst waiting and the bill was very reasonable. Highly recommend this place

Also if you fancy a day outdoors which is free and a bit different try Harvington Estate - there is a play park, playing fields perfect for ball games & woodland with a paddling stream and rope swing over the stream. My kids loved being able to paddle and the rope swing was really popular :D Har...

Re: Amazing family friendly days out 1.5 hrs from se26

If you are heading to Eltham Palace - or in that direction can I recommend a stop off to help the lovely volunteers at Dun Runnin in Brands Hatch. It is a greyhound rescue and about a 40min drive away depending on traffic. My kids and I visited yesterday and walked 2 lovely greyhounds in the woods n...
