Please be cautious. The cat killer is still very active and very much in the local areas.

Try Tiger Sheds. I have a great bike shed from them. Very easy to assemble and good quality.

Re: Parking Chaos

This doesn't surprise me having joined the gym and seen the other members in close proximity, more chatting, posturing and general hanging around in the gym. I have complained several times on social media to Pure gym but they are not interested.

Re: Parking problems

As the OP, and been off the forum a while, it frustrates me that after 6 months the problems are still there, ever increasing and it seems all of the local residents feel the same. Please please log your interest in CPZ on the lewisham council website. Surely they need to take action soon. Sydenham ...

Re: Sydenham vs Forest Hill

Transport links in Sydenham are so much better than FH. Having the additional line at Penge East gives access to Victoria and Blackfriars but also the other way to Bromley South and beyond. I have lived off Kirkdale, Lower Sydeham and now by Venner. Spoilt for choice with parks and local shops but F...

Re: Best dog walks in SE London

Hi I have a 5 month pup. I love close to Alex Rec which is great for weekday walks. Further afield we go to CP and Beckenham Place. BP is huge and v easy parking.
Other options are Cator, Harvington which is just by Eden Park station. The Bridge House is so dog friendly. My pup is v welcome there :D

Hi and welcome! I would def register at Sydenham Green practice. I regret leaving there and joining Wells Park. Not nearly as friendly or easy to get an appt.

Sydenham traffic not helped by the Penge Lane closure. More coming up Newlands Park to get up to CP as Green Lane always at a standstill. I won't even start on the current parking challenges... :(

Re: Can anybody recommend an estate agent?

Another shout for Property World. Great family firm who really care about the area and doing the right thing. I have always sold via them. I have bought via others; Uniplan, Acorn, Mann... All much of a muchness.

Re: Parking problems

Why is it "outrageously selfish" to want to park near my house? I don't think commuters driving from another area do have the same rights. Ok they pay their road tax but they are using residential roads as a car park. There are plenty of good bus and rail routes across the south east, peop...
