Nursing Bras back at The Fitting Studio!

Just saw a poster on the shop window of The Fitting Studio...nursing bras are back in stock! If you don't know this place, Kyra is the owner and she is like a local Rigby and Peller - she can tell your bra size by looking at you. She I think only sells bra for the bigger bosomed bird....and she is t...

Re: Flexible creche or nursery in Sydenham

Not sure about this in Sydenham, but there is a crèche or similar called magic moments or something, towards Dulwich. Sorry, bit vague but a search on the Family Discussion board on the EDF will give you the info. Look at Sydenham Pre School too, Macklin Close near FH Pool. They offer sessions, but ...

Of course!
I'm hoping someone else on the forum has also heard it and knows where this dog is, as I am only guessing at its location.
Anyone?

Dog barking every evening, Kirkdale/Sydenham Park?

Has anyone in Kirkdale/ Sydenham Park (?) area noticed a dog constantly barking most evenings? Seems to be left outside somewhere. I can hear it near Peak Hill so am only assuming this is the area. Poor thing has been barking for about 2 hours now, it is now 2230. This happens most evenings. It soun...

Re: looking for nursery or childminder

Tues - thurs seem to be the busiest days at nurseries, as most parents want the mon and fri off work. Can you arrange an alternative work pattern? Even temporarily if that increases your chance with a childminder or nursery? Once in a nursery you might have more chance of changing your days. Have yo...

Alarm going off in upper sydenham?

An alarm has been going off since before 930 this morning; loud, building alarm, possibly Sydenham Girls?
Anyone know where it is and what is going on?
Feeling sorry to those who live by it. It is so loud.

I too am enjoying this post! These are a bit nearer to home. We like; Eynsford, train from Bromley South and paddle and fish in the stream on a warm sunny day, picnic by the cricket field and watch a match Discover Centre, Stratford; like a make-believe literacy centre with arts, crafts, make-believ...

Netball at Crystal Palace; anyone tried it?

Has anyone played netball recently at Crystal Palace, with Go Mammouth?
Want to find out more before committing to join.
It's a social league, I've played in these before with friends and they are usually good fun. But not in a few years...!

Breast pump to give away

FREE!
Breast pump to give away. In good working order, I think. It's been in its box in the loft for 3 years, and I used it for both babies.
Philips Avent.
PM me if you want this - near Peak Hill.

Aga's Cafe = great coffee on Kirkdale!

Very pleased to have Aga's Cafe on Kirkdale. I visited today, it was packed and the filter coffee was as good as in her Deli on Dartmouth Road.
Very yummy cake too.
I really wish Aga and her team well - so nice to have somewhere like this on Kirkdale.

I have a young family, I have lots of amenities nearby, including a swimming pool within a 10 minute walk, good schools, good and s**t shops and generally nice people. Some nutters around, but that's life... I have no idea about what t...
