Re: a 60 foot (5G?) mast is coming to Newlands Park
I think its an issue of ensuring developments are sensitively placed to ensure they are not detrimental to the local environment and streetscape and the need for proper communication and consultation regarding 5G; the tangible benefits to the community & the infrastructure requirements needed to...

Re: a 60 foot (5G?) mast is coming to Newlands Park
The permitted development of this mast in Newlands Park has been rejected by LBB. what happens next I'm not sure. The density of these masts appears that each has a 500m radius, judging from the positions of the other ones popping up e.g. near Sydenham tennis club & the one by the petrol station...

Re: Power Issues at Bell Green Retail Park
How can it be that the store is allowed to open when it has to run diesel generators 24 /7 spewing co2 and NOx + particulates out into the local environment ? A young Lewisham girl's death was linked to poor air quality. I'm outraged and Aldi need to be publicly shamed. https://www.theguardian.com/u...

Re: Power Issues at Bell Green Retail Park
Am I the only one getting fed up with JGD hijacking threads for the purposes of her ongoing vendetta with Chris Beach? So boring and deters other people from contributing to the discussion. Could her posts not be moved to a separate thread? 'More reasons why Chris Beach is an absolute rotter' might...

Re: The Drowning Place - Beckenham Place Park
Yep. Sad news for the posters on here who hope to see it fail but the park is currently banged out with families and dog walkers today.
Wait till the cafe opens:I suspect some here will worry about children drowning in the water bowl left out for the dogs.

Sorry if you think my response trite. I was trying to be helpful. Have you indeed spoken to the Project Managers or the Executives of the London Borough Of lewisham Council who are responsible for delivering this project, to express your concerns. If you go to the park on saturday you may be able to...

John.
How about you never go there again?
Would that work for you?
Might help lessen your anxiousness and at the same time reduce the risk of a drowning event at the venue .

Re: Bell Green Masterplan Presentation at Bellingham Assembly
SGN confirmed that the demolition in the full is underway and that they have no plans to hand to consider a "hold" or postponement of that work. Dismantling work on the ribs will commence within a matter of a few weeks. Great news for you then! What do you think of the other suggestions p...

Re: Bell Green Masterplan Presentation at Bellingham Assembly
In the published literature and throughout the presentation references were made to the fact that Discourse and SydSoc held to the their insistence that the gas-holders should not be demolished. Despite the fact that they have exhausted every possible avenue to retain them and that the demolition w...
