It's been approved already - the train has left the station. Locals were accepting of the previously approved eight residences; not happy with what will now be built. No provision for parking on site.

A good idea but as someone who attends these meetings regularly I doubt the equipment is available to make this happen. The hall at the Sydenham Centre is not rigged up for it - so managing fixed and roving microphones requires new support and equipment.

Maybe the charges received will be used to pay for enforcement costs. It appears that there was no regular monitoring or oversight of the free 40 minutes. This then allowed those 'in the know' to abuse it and local shopkeepers got no benefit.

All anecdotal of course.
