oh we were out in the garden all day.. fixed the fence, dug up weeds, cleaned the shed... When it was all done (it was alot of work so took all day) we sat outside and played cards I liked this day, I wish we had no electricity more often, it meant no footie/telly/internet for the man of the house s...

My O2 signal seems to have been playing up last weekend and this weekend so not connected to this. Anyone else with O2? We got our power back at about 4pm today. YESSS, since last weekend I am getting very low signal, sometimes none at all on O2. I called to complain and they said maybe it's my are...

I actually wanted a recommendation for a gardener for a one off job. We've just moved in to our place and it's all overgrown and we have no idea what in there is weeds and what would be actual plants!? Never had my own garden before (except as a kid so) so don't know much about these things. Can any...

Looks really bad that there is only one in one out because in ruch hour that is going to be MANIC. It's already slowed down exit from the station where people have to walk through where the barriers are put up. I'm new to the area so can someone tell me how this will work because I currently use a z...

Not critism but just a comment on my personal opinion. There are too many 'distractions' on the website. The ads that change on the top right, the changing text under the date, the scrolling feeds, and the bbc feed. Just a bit too much. I'll check it out again in a couple of weeks to see how it's de...

I'm also trying to buy a 1 bed flat in the area. I have found that 1 beds go from 170,000 to about 220,000.

I currently live in North London but have friends in Sydenham and I'm hoping it turns out to be a good neighbourhood to call home :)

Let me know how you get on please

Hi,
I'm actually in the same boat. Put an offer and my survey says I need the following done:

Inspect the electrical installation, by an NICEIC registered electrical engineer; and the gas installation by a CORGI registered engineer.

Can anyone recommend where I can get this done?
