Re: BELTWOOD IN SYDENHAM HILL
I wonder how much it will sell for and how much it would cost to restore......hmmmmmm, is it a case that the highest bidder wins or will they take into account what the building and land will be used for ?

Re: Freeview Signal in Lower Sydenham
As wing has said it could be too strong a signal (hence the VCR solution). When I used to live in church road dowager the bellua hill end I was Never able to get a signal as I was too close and the signals pasted over ! Not a problem now but come 2011 you may want to connect a coat hanger as once th...

Re: Freeview Signal in Lower Sydenham
I actually live on the same road (home park) but I have a excellent signal, are you using a indoor or roof aerial ? the transmitter is actually in crystal palace ! (You can see it !), it may even be too strong a signal (I can use a metal coat-hanger and still get a strong signal). If you have a old ...

Re: Lower Sydenham - buying a property
I actually live in the same area as the original poster (lucas court) but also know of sunnydene street and I've not had any problems at all over the 1 year or so that I have lived here (except the home park situation when it was cordoned off). The whole area is being regenerated so now is a very go...

Re: Fairlawn Park Stabbing
Well said Simon, I didn't really have the time to go into a long explanation for BBW but I will do tonight. Not one single solution will work, it will need to be a combination of different scheme's (e.g. similar to princes trust / mentoring / youth development / and much tougher sentencing etc) but ...

Re: Fairlawn Park Stabbing
There really needs to be more opportunities for young people (like when I was growing up we would go on summer camps to the countryside for adventure sports etc), but obviously in this current financial climate its really not possible (unless a major financial backer).
