Re: Lewisham West CLP

He is quite an expert on Real Ale , so I understand.

That should be commended.

He probably knows Jeremy of old as was a whip when Jeremy rebelled all the time.

Homes under the Hammer

Just seen a 1/2 bedroom flat in Sydenham on the programme.

Trying to locate the road . Could be Newlands Park or Wiverton or Byne , however could be another road.

Anyone else see it

Septic

I am a Theresa sceptic , however take exception to your dubious comment. Surely you are more intelligent than that.

Re: Celebrating Brexit.

Interesting idea but does Sydenham actually produce anything others would want to purchase. Not sure too many tourists would flood in. Probably even had to import water , as well as most of the food. Maybe we will discover oil under Homecroft Rd , who knows. Problem with planning a use for the Greyh...

Re: Celebrating Brexit.

Lee On our system the only person who votes for a potential PM are people in their constituency. As you know Mr C was MP for Witney and Mrs May MP for Maidenhead. I have not checked but would imagine they probably had roughly the same number of voters. We do NOT vote for a PM , only for our own loca...

Re: Missing dogs

Aurora

Must be honest I have always had good experiences there , but can see others have not.

One can only go on one's own experiences.

Good Luck where ever you go.

Re: Celebrating Brexit.

One can hope that a matter as serious of this MUST be actioned through Parliament .

What over country would make such a big constitutional change after a consultancy referendum ( with many misleading slogans ) and very small majority.

Maybe not too late to pull back from brink.

Re: Good dentist

As I said they do change often but I have never had one I had a problem with.

I should give it a try. The waiting room is a wonder , with beautiful ceiling and walls.

Too be honest as a new patient they would probably nominate a dentist for you.

Good Luck

Re: Good dentist

I have been with the dentist in Lorry Park Rd for about 40 years.
Many changes of dentists in that time but always found them helpful.

Re: Lewisham West CLP

Not sure if young James has decided to retire and concentrate on real ale in future ??

He must have a huge pension by now.

I am sure he has his constituents in mind at all times.

Re: Celebrating Brexit.

Gurka The so called unelected heads of the EU are appointed by Elected Heads of State from The Union. They are civil servants , how else would one appoint them. Ultimately the power lies with the Heads of Government acting in Unison. Too be honest there should be an election but doubt if there will ...

Re: Celebrating Brexit.

Unfortunately most of the secessionists still believe in what they voted for , despite evidence to the contrary.

Not sure how you convince someone , who despite the facts , has no intention of being convinced.

Re: Celebrating Brexit.

Stuart

You have summed up very well.

Daydreaning into oblivion

Although some I know have changed their minds it has surprised me that so many seem to still to their zenophobic postion.

I lived through Britain in the 1950's , although peaceful and very boring , I do not wish for its return.
