Good stuff! I will be there.
I am sure this can all be sorted out if we get Hyde etc on the case. Fairlawn has always been a lovely road to live in and its just a small element of kids causing the problems and they are not all residents.

I have lived here for about 28 years now. Back in the "day" we used to have some fab shops in Sydenham. There used to be a fantastic butchers up at Kirkdale (was selling organic meat before it was "fashionable"), Cobbs department store, Woolworths, used to love Mchray's chemist -...

I think the new Savacentre refit is really good. I love their TU clothing range and their homeware section is now brilliant. I agree the store looks much brighter and I like the new layout. But I agree that it can take longer to get around it to do your weekly shop! People moan about Sainsbury's, bu...

I was also disappointed that the proposals for the regeneration end at Mayow Road. I was hoping it would include the whole of Sydenham Road!!! The lower end of Sydenham will look like the poor relation of the high street.

When my girls were young they used to play in Home Park. The adventure playground used to be extremely well run and events organised for the kids in summer. They stopped using the park when it became a haven for drug takers. The Rose garden at the front of the park used to be lovely but now it seem'...

When we have a function or event to attend that is based in the West End etc we always use Addison Lee on 02073878888. The are reliable and have never let us down. They text you when they are at the pick up point.
They also give you the price of the journey when you book.

Good professional service.

Thanks for posting the pictures of Fairlawn Park. I have lived in Fairlawn for 25 years and yes quite a few of the houses were 2 flats. In fact, our house had an outside loo upstairs as well as downstairs! We also had stairs that led down to the garden. A lot of the houses in Fairlawn differ in some...
