I like the choice of the small individual coffee shops. Would hate to see a larger 'chain' takeover our high street.

I have 2 tattoos. I am employed. Am neither a criminal or Seafaring. my body, my choice.

I have lived in various parts of Sydenham for 14 years. This the first time i have heard of such a spate of criminal activity. I am concerned about the burglaries more than anything and hope that this is not going to make Sydenham an undesirable place to live or socialise.

I used to use The Spa in beckenham but not sure what their timetable is nowadays. Forest Hill Pools lovely since refurb. They have swim school at weekends but not sure on age group.

FCC are even worse than Southern; delays, weekend works and high fares. I agree with others, service getting worse each week. No doubt there will be a fare increase in 2014.

I use the one next to Penge East stn, never had any issues. Fell out with another in Sydenham after jacket ruined. Def recommended Penge East

It would be lovely if the station coffee shop could open when the market is on, lovely coffee and would persuade people down to the stalls on station approach and somewhere to sit and eat the yummy market wares

I am a BT Internet client. I can therefore also access the unsecured bt networks BTWiFi and BTFon. Those others mentioned will have a padlock sign = secure/private. Most people would not share the network password.

Sadly many schools have dropped home economics, cooking etc from the timetable. Sydenham high is having kitchens put in this summer. The convenience shopper is habitual and lazy. Sad as it is it's what society has become. The healthier options, I.e. marks and spencer, waitrose etc are too pricey for...

The best coffee is On the Hoof at the station. Monmouth coffee and seats outside when the sun is shining!

Were any residents consulted about the new street lights being installed around Sydenham? I live on the Corner of Tredown Road.
