The Bridge Tavern in Penge or the Florence in Herne Hill. Both big and extremely kiddy friendly. The Florence even has a play room.

If Lewisham imposed a £5 charge for parking at Sainsbury's, I'd drive to the one in Penge, or the Tesco in South Norwood. Even accounting for the cost of petrol, it would be (marginally) worth it. Or I'd buy online, and get it delivered.

Some of you might not be aware that there's currently a campaign to sort out the bin problem at Crystal Palace Park.
