I have lived in Sydenham for nearly 20 years and am used to it so I like it! Mayow Park is a lovely park to chill out in. I think there's an increasing sense of community with the various events that run during the year. I like the transport links.

Perhaps if enough people show interest in a boot sale but aren't prepared to pay £15 (and let the organisers know) they will drop the price.

@ Annie - The situation is SO bad that I am seriously considering doing a drive sale or just opening up my front door and asking for offers!

It seems well used and the courts seem to be in good condition. My nephew did 2 weeks of tennis activities there last summer holidays and loved it!

I am very excited at the prospect of a car boot sale in Sydenham on Sunday. I have LOADS of stuff to sell so I can move around in my house (currently resembling one of those hoarder's houses shown on TV programmes - I am not exagerating here!). Fingers crossed for the weather and lots of buyers.

Our regulars are Gara Masala and Gurkhas but the other night Mr Sophie had take away from Barakah and really rated it.
