That was a bit of an unprovoked attack from the Sid-nam People's Army on our satanic ways. Can't we all try to be good Narbors?

There are some exciting new glass information boards about the Sydenham High Street improvements currently 'on display' in the Clyde Vale industrial estate, propped up against a van. Expect to see this near the station soon, however for the moment it reminds me of a similar discussion: “Oh yes, well...

'A History of the World' at the Horniman

On Tuesday 16th February, BBC London 94.9's Robert Elms will be broadcasting his show live from the foyer at the Horniman Museum between midday and three o'clock. He's inviting anyone with an object/artefact etc that they feel is part of London's history to bring it along to be discussed on the show...

The central section (North of New Cross Gate) is likely to be open before May (probably in April). Our section will not see ELL trains until 23rd May when the Southern timetable is adjusted to allow spaces for the additional trains.

Just 121 days to go! http://timeanddate.com/s/1jcu

BBW, I must have missed the personal attack on me on EDF. Usually I go to SE23.com for personal abuse, although STF is a useful source as well. Personally I would love to see a return of all the exiles from SE23.com, self-imposed or otherwise. I am sure that your choice of words was not meant to be ...

A copy of this thread was handed to Metro Bus managers at yesterday's Lewisham transport liaison committee meeting by the Forest Hill Society Representative. I was not at the meeting but I understand Metro Bus will follow up on the report of this incident. However, this should not be instead of Simo...

Why did ForestHillOnline forum fail? Because there was no demand for a second forum in Forest Hill and the administrators, having set it up purely to compete with SE23.com lacked the motivation to keep it free of spam and out of the 6 frequent posters I suspect that at least 2 were the same person,...

I welcome three very different forums in the area (plus Brockley Central doing things differently again). But for me the key to any forum is not the way it is administered, but the discussion of the local area. SE23.com is good for discussion of trains, swimming pools and religion. STF is perfect fo...

I saw nothing that would be considered racist The best thing I can do is probably to point to: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/7446274.stm Which is what I assume caused the problem in the original post that 'insulted people based on their ethnicity'. Most of the rest of the rantings of BBW were...

The logic is that in 2015 we will have Thameslink services taking people from Sydenham directly to Blackfriars and St Pancras. From 2012-2015 we will see less trains especially during peak hours, although there are plans to make them longer to counteract this situation. This is much better planned t...
