Just watched a very interesting episode tonight from Phil and Kirsty
The show covered South East London including Sydenham, Crystal Palace, Beckenham, and East Dulwich - really good to see Sydenham portrayed very positively

I feel it would be better sited on the approach to Sydenham station. It looks uncomfortable to me in Venner Square. The last time I went by a tramp was sitting on the seat in the middle of it.

The stalls in the "pop up" shop a few months ago had interesting stuff to sell

I think the video is really good. The bird of prey does not look that much bigger than the pigeon however the poor pigeon didn`t stand a chance.

I think it would be worth sending these pictures to Lewisham council and asking them what their plans are for improvement. Well done for highlighting these ugly areas

I agree - to leave it boarded up is a disgrace

Such a shame as this is not a huge sum of money. The sign now has a negative impact in a prominent place. Would it be realistic to organise some local fundraising? I am sure some of the local businesses/pubs could assist. I would be happy to throw a few pounds into a bucket.

From memory the tiles were beautiful and probably now worth a fortune. I used to visit the Greyhound regularly in the 1980`s
