We actually had Forest Hill higher on our CAF form but got KD instead even tho we live closer to FH ?? just happy that we got offered a school as I know of a few who didn't get ANY school

Sorry I've been spending too much time on Mumsnet , KD is abbrev for Kingsdale Foundation school in Dulwich which was one of our 6 choices for secondary school.

Yes, I heard it as well (In the lower sydenham / home park area) and being a ex services it sounded like a AK47 / 74 or a variant. I didn't hear any motor vehicles afterwards like a car or bike / moped which would be the norm but it defiantly was firearms (Maybe it could of been blanks ?)

Unfortunately it looks like their was a serious incident close to the bus stop on the main road, I saw the medics working on saving the person but I did not want to get close to see to much, thoughts go out to however it is............
