Re: Been to The Greyhound yet?

Mosy, my understanding of the suggestion was that the upstairs rooms should be used for dining when not in use for functions, while the downstairs drinking area should be extended.(for people who only want to drink) If my understanding is correct, and I may well be wrong, those disabled people who c...

Re: Been to The Greyhound yet?

That would prejudice disabled customers. I have to say that they are exceptionally considerate to the disabled.

Re: New plans for Calabash of Culture site

On the Hoof has been closed in the evenings for quite some time now. A real pity because their evening meals were excellent.

Re: Poundstretcher in old co-op site

Wetherspoons state on their website that they are looking for more sites throughout the UK and are asking for suggestions. Their requirements such as size are set out. They also stipulate that there must be external areas. Anyone having any suggestions for sites is asked to complete and submit the f...

Re: 5 days until #SydArts18 festival programme kicks off

Having so many events upstairs at the Sydenham Centre means the disabled are excluded - unless there is a lift?

Re: Sydenham cars

I also use London Cars a lot. Their office staff are friendly, courteous and efficient, while their drivers are good and reliable. Very reasonable charges.

Re: Been to The Greyhound yet?

It would not be good for disabled dining customers though. There are already far too few places in Sydenham and surrounding areas catering for the needs of the disabled.

The venue for Little Nans pop up in Forest Hill is beneath the Stag and Bow on Dartmouth Road. There will also be a champagne and oyster bar in the shop I believe.

The chef who left Gurkhas is now the owner of Himalayan kitchen. I did think Gurkhas went down slightly at one stage, but have eaten there twice very recently and food is superb.

An Indian Restaurant in Forest Hill tried the no alcohol policy when there was a change of ownership. That policy lasted about a week before reverting back to alcohol.

Re: Little Nans Bar Seek Space

Do hope they open in Sydenham, but they are opening as a pop up in Forest Hill every Friday and Saturday from 13 October to 16 December. Exact venue is still a secret, but seems it will be underground somewhere on Dartmouth Road.
