I also notice some bright spark has finally decided to widen the late night exit from the station so that people other then dwarfs and pixes can get out without a crush.
I wonder how many management focus groups it took them to come up with that revolutionary idea?

Crystal Palace park opening times.
Why is it that parts of the park have different opening times? The section around the boating lake, from the railway station all the way down to the cafe only opens at 9.30am I wanted to find out so I rang the park rangers in the park and they explained that that part of the park can not be open unti...

I know its hard but try not to see this as a personal attack.Last year I was painting my windows and saw three young (12 year old) kids walk past my car and smash the side window, they didn't stop , just smashed it and ran off laughing, they didn't see me,didn't know me , just out to try and find so...

I've sent then an e-mail objecting to this. last thing the high street needs is another parasitic betting shop that offers FA to the community but drains and strains it. That said I won 25 quid at the shop in newlands park after backing a horse tipped on radio 4 ( it had the same name as my cat)

I rang the number and got a call back from Belinda the same day ,she emailed me a entry form straight away. She said she had 60 places for the run with 30 left. Runners who managed to raise more then £200 would be placed in a draw to win a camcorder! Her number is 020 8768 4573 ( you may of had the ...

Fishcox .First off the only new bits of the park will be those areas that have been closed off to public access anyway apart from the camping ground. Secondly we have no idea as to how the building will look save for a artists impression the size of a postage stamp so how you have knowledge that the...

Whether you like it or not developments of this kind are increasingly held up to a yardstick of commercial viability. I’m not entirely happy with this principle, but there again its not as though there are vats of public money lying around just waiting to be poured into a project like this. In my o...

Has anyone else seen the small naval boat manned by blue uniformed sailors and guarded by gnomes on the roundabout.

Re: Charles Kennedy supporting Ian Huntley's right to vote
I first thought this was a wind-up until I saw it. Charles Kennedy wants to give convicted and imprisoned killers the vote. And I thought they were confident on getting votes the normal way! This is what he said on Channel 5 on Wednesday 3 March. See and hear for yourself: http://newgolddream.dyndn...

Why does the Lidl in Sydenham high st smell so bad?
The one in Beckenham doesn't.
The gigantic sized rat poison bait boxes don't add confidence either.

Labour Doorstep Campaigning Warning.
If any of them are like the Labour councillors who knocked on my door during the local election , their entire reasoning to vote for them was "to keep the tories out."
Better think up some other lame cliche cause I'm considering voting Tory in order to obtain a more leftist Labour party.

I too thought the crossing was/is in a stupid poisition. the only way for it to be safe would be to install traffic lights but thats not going to help the traffic flows which have already being reduced by the slimming down of the kirkdale approach to Cobbs corner roundabout. What was that meant to a...

The leaning wall of sydenham
Im so pleased to see that the wall at the junction of Newlands park and Homecroft rd which was so dangerous ,it was resting on the lamp post at on spot, has finally been taken down, I had serious concerns about the saftey of that wall , if it had fallen onto a child or a baby in a push chair it coul...
