Fine on Tredown in my opinion, but Homecroft is too dark, as if there is a street light missing. Not pleasant to walk down at night.

I was thinking of trying the group at Kelvin Grove Children's Centre on Monday morning - Stay & Play I think. Has anyone tried it?

Also on the look out for a Friday morning group, if anyone has a suggestion.

Sydenham is crying out for somewhere like that. Cafe Prov in Herne Hill is a great example of how you can have a child-friendly cafe whilst still attracting people without kids. Big box of toys in one corner means families congregate there. Good kids menu. Puts the Dolphin to shame, feel so unwelcom...

It was open today, with re-positioned counter to the left of the door. Didn't stop to see if this is better but will do this weekend!

I think the street art (in no way does it look like graffiti, such as tags etc) looks amazing and has brightened up our high street. Great idea for those horrible shutters and sides of buildings.

Just been into Cherry & Ice.... what a brilliant addition to the high street! Kids will love it. Amazing selection of ice creams and waffle-toppings. And it's a permanent shop, not just pop-up!

Kelvin Grove has already expanded into the new building, having become a 3-form entry in recent years. So I doubt that would be workable. I imagine the Adamsrill building schedule would be pretty swift due to the disruption of having a satellite site. [ Post made via Mobile Device ] http://sydenham....

We're having our sash windows replaced and will need to get them painted. Can anyone recommend someone to do this? We're looking for someone to finish them to a really high standard.

We use Little Kickers in Brockley. I think they have sessions in Beckenham and West Dulwich too. Google them.
Never found any in Sydenham itself.
Also Microsports do sessions in Sydenham/Beckenham borders I think.

It's not a victory it's a complete disaster. If I get knocked down in Sydenham High Street which hospital would I get taken to under these proposals? It's not clear at all. But basically, they need to sort out the NHS lower down. A and E services are stretched partly because GP services are so dire...
