Re: Graffiti between Sydenham Hill station and crescent wood

I moved to Sydenham Hill in December and had no issues at any time of night. The gradient gets easier after a while and has given rise to the sport of competitive commuting! I think the graffiti gets painted over pretty quickly.

Re: Why high streets die

I wasn't aware of any Red Routes in Sydenham. Personally, I think parking works pretty well. Re: Helicopter over the Hillcrest estate

Have no water here in Sydenham Hill since about 7,45. Been out and still nothing on return at 11.20, Heard there was a burst main on the hill but saw nothing while on the diverted 202 home. Anyone know what's going on?

Re: New council houses

I think there is already opposition to some aspects of the Hillcrest development and local residents don't feel they have been consulted properly.

Re: Planning - CAB unit change of use to restaurant

"I will be very disappointed if KFH go ahead with that unit. While some things are worth waiting for they have had so long to move in that I now want something a lot better for that space." To be honest, I don't think that KFH will move in there now. The whole sector is under a lot of pres...

Have to say that the site is looking splendid now after the refurbishment. I hope whoever is going to operate out of there gets plenty of business.

Yes, the tree and the blue plastic barriers looked truly pathetic today. An embarrassment to the community.

Re: Waste Collection

I agree Stuart. Chatted to one of them at Angie's flower stall as he was about top tackle the mess outside the Sydenham Centre and the Post Office. He seemed undaunted. Well done to the street cleaners. Was a rotten day to be out.

That's great that the inquiry has found that everything is in order Chris. Do you think we may now find out who the shareholders and directors of Renewal are?
