Re: CRYSTAL PALACE PLANS TO BE UNVEILED
Spent some time looking over this thing last evening and I'm rather excited by it.
I must try to get access so that I can document it. Hmmm.

Here's something I did quite a while back on crows.
I'm capable now of doing something more sophisticated and plan to soon.

Re: Cafe's
You're right, hairybuddha. But they're all better than nasty Starbucks stuff. Might there be a Costa coming to Cobbs Corner? 'Twas certainly rumoured at one point. That would likely up the coffee standard at least.
Re: Cafe's
Hairybudda, are you not spoiled for choice these days? Kente, Blue Mountain and Suga Hill?
I rate Suga Hill best of all but unfortunate location. Kente's coffee's not perfect and Blue Mountain is pricey though thee offerings and service have improved enormously over the last year or so.

Children's menu is stupid. Children's portions, not menus. Let them eat the same as us big folk.

This is incredibly exciting. I'm going to try and photograph them. Wow. I love crows and ravens. They're like flying shadows. I find them mesmerising. Thanks for posting.

Re: Living on Peak hill
Only thing I can think of is the morning and mid afternoon traffic and brief parking intensity of school drop off and pick up for St. Bart's School. Mind you, both St. Bart's and Lewisham council are pushing hard for more walking and less driving which is paying off.

Nope. I only use them as last resort. Sydenham DIY is a brilliant little shop.

Most definitely, form over function. A most impractical contraption. It's all for show. But great fun, I'm sure.
