you might have to save your pics to a free online photo website - I don't really think you want to give us all access to your C:\ drive.

free online photo storage sites:
Webshots, Picassa, Photobucket, Flickr, etc. etc.

they just assume that everyone is out during the day, and so don't bother to carry larger items of post. Of course if there were still two deliveries a day, and the first post was gaurenteed before 9am, a lot of people would still be in to sign.

I don't want to derail the thread, but I thought that the reason that petty crime decreased so suddently in New York was because 16 years earlier they'd made abortion legal. The knock on effect of this was that there were vastly fewer late teens from poor backgrounds, and so less petty crime. [edit ...

what is she on there doing?

apart from being local - why should we vote for her?

Is she obviously better at doing the thing that got her on there, than everyone else?

bensonby - it might be a 15% increase, and for most train journeys this would be obscene, however it's only a 10 minute journey now, and will only be 11.5 mins after the change - trains often make up or lose a couple of mins between 4 or 5 stops - why is this such a problem to you? my answer, which ...

yep - catapult was the word I was looking for (or maybe rat apult) you can make one from a bit of stury forked wood, a penknife and some knicker elastic - all these are know illegal to carry on the street though so don't go walking down Syders High St, whittling your forked wood with your penknife, ...

I think property prices are already rising aren't they? (we had an offer accepted for £305k back in October maybe, and I'm sure prices have risen since then, I reckon we got a bargain, or we will have done once we move in!) but another question is will it make more difference on April 4th, when the ...

you probably don't even need a shotgun - those y shaped hand held pellet throwing things, with strong elastic and a cup on ... my mind goes blank for simple words sometimes, not pea shooter, or slingshot (but that might work), fishermen use them to scatter bait, anyway, one of those each, and maybe ...

buy yourself a shotgun (with a valid licence, of course, all above board and legal), and then start taking pot shots at them from the balcony when you see them. I don't think it's illegal to use a shot gun for pest control on your own property but then IANAL*, so don't take my word for that. it shou...

If you have spare stuff, take it to a charity shop, or post it here on the STF offers page.

very hot summer - 1976, my mother complained about the labour, apparently.

took my inlaws into The Dolphin for Sunday lunch sometime before Christmas, and it was rather pleasant.

must go back there sometime, (maybe I'll moan about the price of a pint if I do....)

well I'll have to think about that. Monday night is ok, but I might be going to The Hobgoblin at New Cross (Gate?) - as it's the same league I was in before, and easy to get a train back.

might see you, if not, thanks for the info anyway.

Poker in Sydenham

hey folks does anyone know where I can play poker (maybe in a pub?) in or near Sydenham? I used to play in the Champions Pub Poker League, in The Marigold on Bermondsey St, SE1 - just off Tower Bridge Road, but have moved out of that area now, and it's not close enough to London Bridge to still go t...
