It was described in the newshopper as one of Lewisham's worst eateries and was given just 1 star.

Re: Beggars on the high street
Not Sydenham area, but there is a young guy with a didgeridoo who 'camps out' in the entrance to the old M & Co in Forest Hill, and on two separate occasions this week, people have offered him a pack of sandwiches they had just bought in Sainsbury's and he said he didn't want them. Today he said...

Beggars on the high street
Is there a new syndicate of beggars in Sydenham? Went up the high street today and there were female beggars (Romanian?) on both sides of the road.

Stuart, what's the water saving feature for the loo? Just checked Thames Water www and all they show for the loo is the save-a-flush bag
http://freebies.thameswater.co.uk/
Not got bricks in my loo, instead I've got water bottles and a large shampoo bottle

Didn't realise the Golden Grill had closed. Saw it was shut this afternoon, but assumed it was just too early as it only opens early evening.

The Ladywell Porsche incident is in tonight's' Evening Standard, as part of an article about a street fight in Harrow. Seems the whole of London is affected in various ways.

Accident needing heli ambulance
Heard sirens just before 6pm then saw the red London helicopter ambulance land somewhere between Sydenham and Beckenham - it landed so quickly I couldn't pinpoint it, so it obviously had a good place to land. It took off almost 35 mins later. Anyone know what happened?

Anyone know what's going on with the school playground. All the bushes along the 2 sides of the streets have been taken out and now the place is entirely open. Are they going to build there?

Re: 20 mph speed limits
On roads such as Kent House Rd where the limit changes from 30 to 20 half way along, most vehicles take no notice, and continue to belt along at 30+ !!!
Re: No Water

They seem to hang out in the industrial estate. The other day I saw them doing wheelies etc up and down the road. I'm surprised people li...
