I didn't think Wellbeing stocked a big range of Fairtrade food products. Perhaps I've missed it.

What is also great about Master Cutters is they do Sundays. It's fab. Went for the first time on a Sunday last week.

Somewhere to go in the evening would be great. I definitely think that is lacking in Sydenham although there are pubs and other restaurants sometimes I fancy going somewhere that is more chilled. Have you checked out Domali in Crystal Palace? They do that kind of thing.

I used to buy a lot of things from the pet shop when they stocked Fair Trade and other ethically produced items. It was great for pressies and cards for example and I also bought a few things for myself such as jewellery and music. I definitely think there would be a market for it. Does anyone remem...

I have actually used both. I used The Outback for a couple of years but left when my regular hairdresser left and the person who took over butchered my hair and didn't do what I asked for. Paula, the owner, is very nice and friendly and I wish I had mentioned it to her but I was just too upset at th...

I go to Master Cutters which is a bit further down than Somerfield, next door but one to the pet shop I think. I have been really happy with them and currently Scott, the Salon Director, does my hair.

I think someone else commented on this restaurant a few months ago and said how good it was. Next time we fancy Indian food we'll definitely go here.

Out of curiosity, how come a cricket match is so important that it's in the esteemed "Town Hall" forum and not in the cafe?!!!!

Done the survey as well. Good Luck. Trying to work out where the cafe could go now. Do you have a spot in mind or are you at the maybe only stage?!

Moneyless Trade/Exchange Schemes

Does anyone know anything about these schemes? Years ago I thought there were some operating in this area but have googled today and found nothing. I've heard them called LETS schemes but sites that came up weren't that great. If there isn't one for our area it might be a good thing to set up! Cheer...

I would have thought it would make more sense to book at cab when you are at Alexandra Palace as it miles away from here and a firm local to that area would know it better than a driver from here with a possible sat nav and map!

I agree that the service in the cafe is incredibly slow and it is a bit hit and miss with the coffee. However, it is a nice space so hopefully when the staff are more familiar with the machines etc everything will speed up. I have had a sandwich and a coffee in there on a couple of occasions and may...

Maria used to work in Zucker and always made the cakes there. I haven't been to Blue Mountain while she has been working there but would definitely vouch for her cakes. Re BMC I'm afraid my first experience there was not good so I have not repeated it. I go to a cafe to relax and it was anything but...

I visited the exhibition a few weeks ago and signed the petition regarding a new Crystal Palace. I think the plans look great and are a good way of keeping park land up and running as well because there are plans to fund the park through the revenue raised with the main build. I love having open spa...
