Does anybody know a Miss Dove?
I've received a letter for her, but she isn't one of my immediate neighbours nor is she the person who lived in the house before I did.
Thanks,

Slam Dunk Festival Tickets
Hi, We have 2 tickets to Slam Dunk Festival in Hatfield on Sunday 26th May. Absolutely gutted but unfortunately we are unable to attend now so would like to see if anybody would like to buy them? They cost £125 for both so we're looking for an offer close to that. It's a great festival with lots of ...

Re: Best Breakfast in Sydenham
So I had my breakfast in the cafe in Mayow park on Saturday morning. I went for the B&G breakfast and swapped my egg of another sausage. £8.95. Quality of the ingredients was good, but I do have some issues... The plate was way too small for the 4 pieces of toast to go on with everything else, d...

Re: Best Breakfast in Sydenham
I was wondering if anybody has tried the cafe in Mayo park for their breakfast? I'm probably going to head out somewhere on Saturday for a good old breakfast, I'll be sure to report back. Pretty sure this is as important as news gets. I can't think of anything else going on anywhere that impacts peo...

Re: Best Breakfast in Sydenham
It's not a matter of not being able to, but convenience. That's what you pay for... I'm guessing by this logic that you never eat food outside of your home then? Who would possibly do it 5 days a week too? I suppose it's true what they say about when you assume... treating yourself to something once...

Best Breakfast in Sydenham
Couldn't find a thread on this, and it being a vitally important topic, thought one should get started! Any shout outs for a decent full English/ Brekky bap/ Smashed Avo on toast (if that's your jam...) in Sydenham. I've only tried Dilz Cafe so far. Had the Dilz Special. Not a fan of eggs, so swappe...

Re: Second Sydenham Town Forum Meeting
Much appreciated JGD :) I am happy to head a meeting again in 4 weeks time if people are happy with that? 12:30pm on the 7th April? Meeting to start at 1pm. That way it will give people chance to stroll across to the correct pub if they find themselves in an alternative establishment... This ...

Re: Second Sydenham Town Forum Meeting
So, this Sunday was when the next town forum meeting was meant to take place, however, my wife and I are being induced this weekend, so I won't be able to attend. If it is still going ahead, could somebody please take notes. Alternatively, I'm happy to rearrange for another date? Feedback on which s...

Re: Mamma Dough
I haven't had a takeaway, but sat in the restaurant for a pizza and I was really happy with mine. I thought the base was good and the quality of the ingredients was great. My wife thoroughly enjoyed hers too.

Gym Recommendations
Hi all, Can anybody recommend a good gym/ class in or around Sydenham? I'm currently at a boxing gym in East Dulwich and really enjoy the boxing class. I find running on a treadmill or using dumbells by myself really boring, so something with an enthusiastic trainer that can motivate is preferable. ...

Re: Second Sydenham Town Forum Meeting
I know that weekend's aren't convenient for everyone, but would like to try and get something that suits most people. Unfortunately, the next 2 weeks are looking like no-gos for me as my better half is about ready to drop our first child, so if somebody else would like to take the lead on this meeti...

Second Sydenham Town Forum Meeting
Hi everyone! Hope all is going well and people are in good moods as the weekend beckons! So, we've had a few weeks getting used to the new colours and tweaks made following on from the first meeting, so I think it's about time we arranged a second one. The purpose is to try and come up with ways tha...

Re: Who chose
Maybe it did, but to a colour that feels like it is tearing your eyes from their sockets,?I feel a migraine coming on. How will you see all of the buildings on the moon if you tear your eyes out though? As for being a dictator... It was a democratic process. 100% of the people who attended the meet...

The New Look Forum
Just wanted to start a thread to say about how great the new look is. I think it's much fresher than the previous grey on grey, which just reminded me of the old Twix adverts with Norm, "Grey will never go out of fashion because it's never been in fashion!". What do other people think? Wel...

Re: Syd Society help request for pavement opposite library?
Has anyone else living on Larkbere Road noticed tons of litter floating about? I live at the top end near Champion Crescent but every time I leave home, I notice stray crisp packets, chocolate wrappers right outside the door, chewing gum stuck to my wheely bin etc. I'm wondering if people have spil...

Re: Who chose
The change was decided during the meeting before Christmas to try and brighten it up and make it more user friendly and welcoming than the previous grey to try and encourage more posters! I personally really like it. I think it's much, much better! Well done all those involved behind the scenes, I k...
