Re: Another fatality at Penge East

Do we know this was a suicide or are some people just guessing .

Hope they did not have headphones on and just walk without looking where they are going.

How did we commute in the 70's without Mobile devices. How did we ever survive.

Re: Dog theft Kemble Road

I am very sorry for the doggies and their owners.

However 6 dogs far too many for one dog walker . Also surely they can walk to park nearby .

Why do people entrust their prized pets to this sort of service.

Glad all sorted but if I were you I would mail the Council or my Councillor pointing out that there should be consultation before

a similar thing happens again.

One retailer inconvenienced , as opposed to the sleep of about 50 people. No contest.

How about a nice Department Store , what a novel idea . Could be called Cobb's .

I do not think many tears will be shed over the demise on Tanzania Night Club.

Moon and Stars has no music policy and also no vaping.

Talking only , what a refreshing change .

The last thing one wants in a pub is the Bay City Rollers in the background.

Wise words by all.

I know the area of WPR suffered badly by bombing and the 60's urge by Lewisham Council to pull down everything.

Best place to look is the Records Office in Lewisham Library , top floor.

Excellent maps and many old directories.
