It's Finchley Road I think
I used to go there sometimes when I lived in Kilburn, before locating here
It's huuuge. (Altho I still preferred the Waitrose round the corner. Cut me and I bleed Waitrose)

Welcome! I agree with all of Cheese Wotsits comments Local transport is fantastic which is why we moved here 7 years ago and is going to only get better. In Venner Road, you have the choice of Sydenham and Penge East/ West which covers all bases Parks and green spaces are - I love the Palace and the...

Thanks admin I heard all of the engines/ helicopters/ fire engines and figured it must be an rta. I live in LPR, about 100 yards from the hospice. My husband has a daily 90 mile road trip via motorbike and came home half an hour ago. I'm very pleased to see him. Here's hoping that everyone involved ...

I dont think a mural is right for the architecture of that building
It could look quite good spruced up - minimal buildings of that design need to be sharp and clean. Everything the nabourhood buildng presently isnt.

Blunt1, I havent seen a single negative post by sugahill or leenewham. Both seem to be actually seeking to actively contribute to the region. Both have great vision - sugahill contribute to our high street every day by their fantastic shop and the service they provide as well as actively positively ...

Sorry, I hate murals
They look grubby, tired and I'm not sure who they appeal to
And I think they's look especially rubbish on that building
I applaud that someone bothered to come up with a proposal, but I dont like the solution in this case

and you wouldn't take the oppertunity to fight for your pay rises / job security if you could? Perhaps if more people did then we wouldn't be in as big a mess as we are now... Do you think? It makes me think of Dylan Moran's line "have you ever met a Child who ISNT in need..? When did you last...

A bit of possible inconvenience to us whereas for the tube drivers it is the threat of dismissal with consequent risk of losing homes and families. We should get that in perspective. They will presumably also lose pay. PP Just because I dont drive a tube train, doesnt mean its easier for me to pay ...

I also dont know the terms and conditions of this strike, however, LU do seem to strike now, annually and I think, given the level of suffering of many people in different industries, any sympathy folk may have had is going to be meagre. We're a world class city and a few days a year, LU workers see...

glib quip, probably spectacularly illinformed on my part, suggesting that the revenue from catching people speeding would be forgone if such measures were implemented. the answer is obvious, if not cheap. They should make inhibitors linked to sat navs that are built into car engines making it impossible for the vehicle to go over the speed limit in any given area compulsory in all cars as part of the MOT scheme. the technology exists....I see no good reason not t...
