Re: Local announcements with political message

There are parts of Nigel's post that should be removed to prevent the continued discussion of a thread that was deleted. It may just be easier to delete his post entirely to avoid including his remaining comments out of context.

Re: A Leaf out of East Dulwich Forum's book?

One of the problems that all forums suffer from is over-dominance by a small group of people - whether they present a completely uniform outlook on life, or dominate opposite ends of the political spectrum - you end up with a conversation dominated by a small number of individuals - usually dominate...

Re: Bell Green Gas Holders - Proposal to Demolish in April 2

Beyond the current Prior Notice, there is no development proposal to hand. The authority has rejected them all. There has been an appeal lodged against the council's refusal of the Aldi store so, in addition to the new application for demolition alone, there is a live proposal for the Aldi store. Y...

Re: Hillcrest Estate development

I'm interested to understand whether any of the developments planned are on the land marked as 'Site of Importance for Nature Conservation' or whether these areas are just beyond the boundaries (which seems to be the case on the planning application submitted). For me, it is really important to prot...

Re: Suggestion - red light cameras

I live right by those lights and you can hear the scooters and motorbikes coming from Kirkdale or Westwood hill, tapping on their warning horn and revving their engines to tell people to move out of the way as they have no intention of stopping. They seem to believe themselves above those crossing ...

Re: Parliamentary Election Hustings

Due to the horrific incident in Manchester last night and the suspension of election campaigning today, we have decided to cancel the hustings that was due to take place this evening.

We are looking to see if it would be possible to rearrange prior to the election and will keep you informed.

. What next? Poetry reading? Gluten free cookery courses in the lower field? Those are great ideas. There was an outdoor film shown last year, which I believe was a great success, but poetry reading sounds like a good idea too. And gluten free cookery would be excellent, I'm always looking for exci...
