Maybe the fact that no-one was hurt and it was a beautiful day, is compensation enough

This is a message I posted on the forum 10 December 2006 addressing Chris Best. Hi Chris, The area between Cobbs Corner and Mayow Road has some the most expensive housing in Sydenham. As the talk is of "millions" with regards to investment, surely the area past Mayow Road towards Bell Gree...

Hi,

Does anyone know of a company in Sydenham (or nearby) that will cut perspex to size? Some of the panes in my greenhouse are broken and I need them replaced.

Thanks

Hi, Go with your instincts. You said you did not feel particularly safe in daylight. Imagine how you'd feel after a night out and 15 min walk from the station. I also live on Fairlawn Park and that's about how far I would go if I was a single female. I may be doing Winchfield Road a disservice but y...

Went to BHT for Sunday lunch (Pork and Lamb) with the inlaws yesterday. Food was a long time coming after we ordered. Although they did give us complimentary drinks to compensate (fair enough). Food was slightly cold but delicious, better than the sad offerings we got at the Dolphin on one occasion....

I wouldn't use Select a Door - we ordered a door which never arrived. After much back and forth we went elsewhere. Also have been told by a reputable carpenter that they do not hang doors correctly and are a bit slap dash.

Saying that I have been told by the SNT that they do liase with the Bromley police with regards to the allotments and are aware of the vandalism that has been taking place....

Sydenham Online and Shopping News

Just a thought, Sydenham Online on the homepage has news from 2004 and 2005. Not quite relevant anymore, worth removing? Same with Shopping News very out of date.

I think the more up to date and relevant the news the more likely people will return for another visit.
