Re: Car bot sales SE23/SE26 or Near
Would love to make some photos of it should it materialize. A good local photo project. Have been looking to do a local photo project. Any other ideas? Car boot sales are great fun. Haven't been to one for a few years. Hope this one works out.

Re: PRINTMAKING IN SYDENHAM
Strange, I was thinking about screen printing just the other day. Would love to try it again. Haven't done so for a very long time. Would like to try screen printing some calligraphy onto t-shirts. But will I ever find the time? Hmmm.

Don't like Blue Mountain. Never have.
Kente is fine but yes, coffee not the best. George is a delightful gentleman, however.
My favorite is SugaHill. Yasmine is an absolute treasure. Free wifi and good music. A brilliant cafe.

I love the crow taking to flight. But I'm rather obsessed with crows anyway.
And, of course, the big mut.
Keep 'em coming dude.

Re: 3 MOBILE PHONE SIGNAL IN SYDENHAM
BlackBerry with Orange and never a problem in Sydenham or Crystal Palace. Good signal everywhere. It may have improved a little after merger with T-Mobile. Though that may be imaginings.

Re: A Talk at Kirkdale Bookshop
I'll try and attend. Have seen Matthew on Newsnight and he's terrific. I also see him from time to time in the school playground while dropping off his daughter though we've only spoken once.
Hope to be there.

New Sydenham Photos
Hello It's been ages since I posted photos to my Sydenham photos blog. I'm not sure if I'll continue the blog as I have too much going on. I do continue to make lots of photos in our area but don't always get to make them public. I'm part of a collective of UK based street photographers and so I ten...

Re: Zebra Crossing on the Bridge by Sydenham Station
I was recently very nearly hit as a car skidded to a halt with my hands on the bonnet. Scary stuff. Needless to say I was furious. The car was going too fast and appeared, it seems, from nowhere. Luckily I was alone. There were people about and saw what happened and were aghast. The driver is lucky ...

Re: Tesco in Kirkdale
There's no excuse for those plywood boards to still be there. Thought a company like Tesco would have that sorted very quickly.

Re: Post all the news of the Riots here (To make it easy)
My sons and I were evacuated out of Co-op a little while ago. The high street is locking down. The hardware store just mounted thick boards under their metal shutters. We're home safe now. My wife's department at King's has just been evacuated and so hopefully she'll be home with us soon if the 176 ...

Thanks leenewham.
Sophie, I think you're right. But schooling and parents in many cases are not providing much guidance for youngsters to seek out such activities or indeed to help develop the skills and confidence to do so.
