Re: ENCOURAGING CYCLING THROUGH THE TAX SYSTEM
If you use the pavement, you don't pay to use it. If you use the road, all users pay - but why not cyclists? The law should be changed to reflect this because the cyclists do not ride on the roads causing no damage/delays/issues. The last time I checked it is not car clubs which go through Sydenham ...

Re: ENCOURAGING CYCLING THROUGH THE TAX SYSTEM
Personally I think all cyclists should pay a charge to the government when they either A) Buy a new bike B) Have it serviced/Maintenance repairs. The funds should go to the Treasury for repairing potholes or other road safety requirements which benefit us all. If the Police stop cyclists for unsafe ...

Re: Reduction in services from London Bridge
I have responded, and the survey is not really clear in terms of which questions affect us. It is all over the place. I have left comments suggesting they improve/intensify our services rather than a) slowing them down B) cutting/restricting them. I urge all users of this forum to spread the word and...

Re: Sydenham Assembly - 7pm TNG Tuesday 4 October
Hi Cllr, I am unable to attend, work commitments unfortunately. It would be good to see what is happening with the below,as they are an absolute eyesore to both ends of Sydenham. A) Greyhound development -and why this has not moved forward B) The development of the Windmill pub - Last I heard was th...

Re: Celebrating Brexit.
You can't have referendum after referendum until you browbeat the electorate into submission or despair and get the result the establishment wants ...I hope that no amount of anti democracy rallies by a few thousand will overturn the choice of millions. Parliament really will be crossing the pale i...

Rustya I except I know nothing and bow to your supreme knowledge being a qualified banker. It would have been more helpful if you had given more info of your examples. You seem to be discounting the 48% plus the 28% as not important and whose views do not matter . So be it. I believe you meant &quo...

Unfortunately you need to do some research and learn what the EU has done to member states, and what it has done to ours. I think your views...

Re: Celebrating Brexit.
My view on Brexit - It's great news! The turmoil people have said has not arrived, the markets are functioning well, the Banks are well capitalised, and companies and jobs are not leaving the UK. Whatever your personal views they are all valid - just as the pro Brexiteers - but please think of an a...

Re: Cycle Hub for Forest Hill, Kirkdale and Sydenham
LPR should be made cpz in that case with no bus lane.
That would force commuters to use their feet to get to the station, or dare i say it.....use public transport

Re: Cycle Hub for Forest Hill, Kirkdale and Sydenham
Lawrie park rd would be good to convert to cycling zone.
The cars speed massively down this road, and considering it adjoins crystal palace park pretty much, this could be an ideal place to convert
