It's actually 46 a month for a 3 month contract and 40 a month for a year's contract. 34£ a month for a year's contract if you're a student.

Don't know about corporate discounts as my company doesn't have that :(

I am indeed of the opinion that the gates are uneccesery, inadequate, insulting and a grotesue inconvenience. And I also believe that these should be opposed as much as the platform 1 gate issue. I agree that it is a fight that has less chance of succeeding, but that is not helepd by the fact that ...

I'll be there. The only thing is that I don't have any valid case (no disability or kids). I only have the inconvenience and frustration of the pile up at the ticket barriers and annoyance when my card does not work. Oh and the extra 3 or more minutes that it takes me to walk the longer way. I do ha...

Anyway, will continue to hold out in hope of an economic upturn followed by pubs that I wouldn't be nervous about going into without a big burly male to protect me... Agreed 100% You tend to not need big burly men with you when u go to 'trendy' pubs. Much more intimidating for a girl to go on her o...

I've paid £18 from Ikea in Croydon so a couple of months ago. So that could be correct as that fare was during the day on a week day.

When I intervened she said she could not see the front guy but did, after some discussion, agree to open the gate " but only for the man in the blue, not for the one wearing white!" Needless to say both men left the station through the gate on Platform 1. What a joke, so they expected the...

my ticket didn't even work in the ticket machine for the past two days and I asked why and if I could get a new one. The response was to keep it away from my mobile phone. So I suppose I need to get two handbags, one to keep my phone in and one to keep my paper ticket in, just to make sure they neve...

I've only moved to Sydenham at the beginning of May and have only walked home once late at night on my own (10pm) and I felt completely comfortable. I walked from the station, up kirkdale and then onto one of the residential streets. I have a couple of friends living on Lawrie Park and they always w...

We have the News Shopper (Lewisham, Greenwich & Bromley edition) delivered, although not much applies to Sydenham - mainly Eltham, Catford, etc. Even the free property supplement inside doesn't feature Sydenham properties! In fact I only read it to find out Lewisham Planning applications.... :w...

I missed having a normal birthday - i.e. a birthday with TV, hair straighteners, working traffic lights etc etc. NOT the best day to have a birthday and it won't be remembered fondly to say the least! Sorry to hear that :( I had one even worse, my birthday is the 7th July. I was stuck underground f...

By the way, Mysti.. I can't really help you myself, but I would suggest googling your boiler type and some suitable key words - there's a lot of forums out there and you might well find someone's had the same problem as you and got advice to solve it. I hope it won't come to it but I got LMS gas se...

my hot water doesn't work anymore. It was working fine before the outage. We lit the flame thingy in the boiler last night and up to this morning it doesn't work :(

I don't know what to do, does anyone have a clue?
