I really symphatise with you. I hope and pray I don't ever have this problem, particularly as I'm going to be a mum soon and I don't fancy having to deal with young children being woken up by noise. I hope you get this resolved or that they move out soon.

I've been a member for 13 months and just cancelled my membership. I don't really find it good value for money to be honest. I don't ever use the facilities except for the cardio machines (which are ancient and some don't work), and I use free weights. All summer long I've not used the gym more than...

I thought it was lovely although some of the uphill parts were tough going on the legs!

Where's the nail bar?

I actually checked out the prices in that hairdresses when it was open and didn't find the price competative at all. For somewhere that was now opening I found that they should have been cheaper to get me to 'try them out'.

I'm doing the Crystal Palace Race for Life as well. I am not sure if it's laps around the park or exactly the route, but just try to measure out 5k and practice running it. Don't worry too much about it, I'm not a runner myself and only recently started training. I did the london city one last year ...

bensonby > I actually wish that these gym contracts/joining fees etc were not so strict as I tend to mainly use a gym in the winter when I don't feel comfortable running in the cold, dark and wet. But it is expensive and sometimes I feel cheated at LA fitness in Sydenham as the equipment and classes...

well at least they are putting barriers in and not shutting the gates forever. 8 weeks inconvenience is much preferred to never having access at all.

Gaz my bodyclock doesn't enjoy waking up a few minutes earlier either. If I do wake up earlier, I tend to move slower and end up leaving home at the same time regardless!

side gate at station open?

sorry for this post. I got eye surgery done yesterday and got to go myself into london bridge today and wondering if they would have the side gate open or if I buzzed they will let me through. I can see, just very light sensative so wearing shades and feel a bit nervous going the other way over the ...

yay!gosydenham! does have a point. I used the LA Fitness in East Finchley which was massive and the equipment more modern, tonnes more classes. But the LA Fitness in Sydenham charges the SAME monthly price for a gym not even a quarter of the size/quality of the EF branch.

It's never too much wait for equipment which has always been a problem for me at bigger gyms. If you want lots of classes, I find it's quite limited for beginners. Otherwise I quite enjoy this gym.

Muzzling will not work for my dog. He hates it so much that he will sit still and refuse to move if he has to wear it at length. I only muzzle him when absolutely necessarily and for short periods. He has a short snout and I think it's uncomfortable for him. Does this mean that I must muzzle a 13 po...

Sickens me to hear about something like this. My dog (very small pomeranian mix) bit someone in the past. Luckily it was someone we knew and it wasnt out of aggression, we were at a crowded bus stop and he got freaked out as hes a country dog and was now learning about city life. I was absolutely de...

Thomas, I was thinking of doing that at my office but recently they've been going on about cutting costs and I don't want to get anyone caught at the printer spewing out nearly 400 pages. ALIB, I've contacted PMS printers and they said they can do it, but I'll probably go to the printer cartridge sh...
