If you upload your image to a site like flickr or similar, and then paste the link into your message, using the 'img' tab at the top of the window, it will be posted. Certainly, One tree hill would have been an important viewpoint and likely strategic position, (as told in the legend that Boudicca and her band camped there before sacking London c.60 AD) it would be interesting to see if there is any sign of that route at all in th...

lost railway bridge
where is this, any ideas? it says its part of a bridge over the south circular in forest hill, and part of the crystal palace high level line, so it could be near devonshire rd, by the old Lordhip lane station, but ive certainly never seen this view before. http://lh5.ggpht.com/_qE5rywVvABY/SInpHJfX...

I recently had a go at converting the 3D images on this thread into anaglyphs, so the 3D can be seen with traditional red/green 3D glasses. http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1375/3266653311_43654532fe_o.jpg there are several others here; http://www.flickr.com/photos/35134674@N06/sets/72157613558024710/...

king george in sydenham 1911...movie
There are some very interesting films available on the Movietone web page, but this, from 1911, showing King George and Queen Mary in Sydenham is quite intriguing. can anyone place the location? http://www.movietone.com/N_search.cfm?ActionFlag=back2ResultsView&start=1&pageStart=1&totalRe...

I think thats it, Steve. Forest Hill school used an old wooden building, with a hall and 4 small 'classrooms', which i imagine were offices and changing rooms originally, we had drama and art classes in the 'convent' as we called it..it would have been situated behind the main building, where Acorn ...
