Re: LEWISHAM COUNCIL PLANNING ENFORCEMENT DESPAIR
Would it be worth contacting the 'new' mayor. I've heard he is quite approachable.

Not fatal, but possibly "life changing". The bike was in pieces apparently and can be seen in this report

Re: Can you recycle ... ???
Ah, I didn't notice the bit about 'wet' cardboard.
Then how do we keep the cardboard dry after 2 days of rain on Sat and Sun,and no lid on the large communal bin?

Re: Can you recycle ... ???
Interesting that cardboard can't be recycled. Maybe that explains why a load has been dumped in Kent House Rd this week!

There should be star crossings at all junctions where there are crossroads. They need one at Penge main junction.

It's been there ages, probably as long as the Queensthorpe one. Only ever seen it used once.

Re: Accident in Kent House Rd

Accident in Kent House Rd
Anyone know what happened in the accident in Kent House Rd at lunchtime? A smashed up car was right across the road and seemed to have hit a parked car, right by the bus stop near the roundabout with Kent House Lane. The buses going towards Penge could only just get past.

Re: Power cuts
I received a text at 9.12 pm Fri from UK power networks about the power cut affecting the substation and affecting 1/3 of the customers in lower Sydenham. They also sent a link to a map and more info of the problem area. Luckily my place was ok.

He's already targeted 58 businesses. I suppose if he just asks for relatively small amounts of money, his victims are likely to give.

Looks like Moynuls in lower Sydenham has closed down, the windows are all covered over. Nothing seems to last in that shop.
