Just had a fab breakfast at Canvas & Cream in F Hill .. my friend (down from North of the river; Archway to be precise) was blown away by the cafe. It was very cool in there. We wandered down to Sydenham past nice bars, little delis and the new swimming pool on the Dartmouth Road and walked thro...

Horrible. There used to be nice 'orange' lights along Silverdale which I thought was easy on the eye and created a nice atmosphere at night. The new ones look like the lighting you get in shining on a supermarket car park. Aesthetically very unpleasing.

I was in the new 'upcycled' refurbed Post Office Sylvan pub thing in forest hill on Weds and it was packed .. on a Wednesday. In a recession. Plus the food was great. There clearly is a need for ...

Credit where credit is due. Fantastic 'artsy' cafe in Forest HIll. Just had a coffee but was v impressed with atmosphere and 'shabby chic' ambience. Once of the coolest cafes I've been to in a while - especially with the art gallery section at the back. Looks like the breakfast they do there is good...

Love this guys! Perhaps you could incorporate interviews with local 'interesting' people; or have a spot for local musicians or something.
